Information for New Faculty and Staff:

Welcome to Fort Hays State University!

New employees must follow these steps to gain access to FHSU computing services:


1. Complete the New Employee Data Form

After the offer of employment has been accepted, the new employee must complete the New Employee Data Form (PDF)*.  This form must be completed by ALL new employees, even if they have been previously employed at FHSU or previously attended FHSU.

 NOTE: Instructions for initial access to FHSU computing system accounts will be sent to the new employee using the communication method designated on this form.


2. Department Submits Request for Services

Department chair, director, manager, or administrative assistant needs to submit a CTC Request for Services in Lotus Notes.  Once this request is submitted, it will take 1-2 business days for your accounts to be created.


3. We Contact You

You will be contacted at the email address you provide on the New Employee Data Form when your accounts are ready to access.  You will receive additional communication if a computer is being configured for you.


4. Create TigerNet ID

Go to the TigerNet ID Activation page and follow the directions. www.fhsu.edu/activate/
