Leveling Up With Blackboard
July 13, 2020 – July 24, 2020
In this cohort workshop, a group of 15-25 faculty members will have an immersive learning experience from the student perspective to learn about the essential tools and features in Blackboard. This faculty cohort will be able to connect with the colleagues across the university to discuss content organization, course delivery, and student engagement synchronously and asynchronously. This cohort workshop will be facilitated by the Teaching Innovation and Learning Technologies (TILT). A group of TILT staff will monitor the class performance and host synchronous webinars on the topics that have been introduced in each week.
This 2-week workshop has 9 learning modules. The first 4 learning modules will be available for the faculty cohort from the beginning, while the remaining 5 learning modules will be available by the end of the first week. In each learning module, you can learn about the Blackboard tools and features from videos, websites, and infographics. You can also participate in class discussions and submit optional assignments to maximize your learning experience in this workshop.
