Being a new faculty member, for a new semester at a new university in a new town, can be stressful. Not only do you need to find a place to live and learn about the new area in which you live, but you also need to learn all of the ins and outs at FHSU. To help you adjust yourself to your new position, Learning Technologies presents New Faculty Orientation in Curatr.
New Faculty Orientation will cover a wide range of subjects to assist new faculty in acclimating to their new positions. Do you have any questions on how to handle a Title IX dispute? Curatr will have the answers. Looking for information regarding scholarship opportunities? Our New Faculty Orientation will be able to help you. The New Faculty Orientation course will cover subjects ranging from university policy to technology enhanced learning.
Curatr–yes, that’s how it is spelled–is a new content delivery system that allows for branching modules that provide faculty with different tracks to follow through the course. New Faculty Orientation will have two tracks: the first track will cover policies and resources, while the second track will cover classroom basics, Blackboard, and introduce Technology Enhanced Learning.
We hope that New Faculty Orientation will help you be more comfortable in your new home here at Fort Hays State University.
