After an adjunct or FHSU Online faculty member is hired and has completed HR onboarding, below is the workflow for processing adjunct contracts:
1) 3-6 weeks before semester starts, department chairs submit a “Chairs Report” to the Budget and Planning Assistant Director to indicate who is teaching which class.
2) Depending on the details of the courses assigned to you, your contract will be distributed within the first month of the semester starting. It will be delivered in one of two ways:

To estimate when you’ll receive your first paycheck, please the consider the following:
1) First, check your contract for course dates to align with the pay date schedule.
2) The first pay date depends on the duration of course, the start date of the course, and the way the 20th day of class falls within the pay date schedule. For example, for 16-week courses, the first pay date falls approximately 4 weeks after the 20th day of class.
