Starting this semester, all TILT events will be managed via Guidebook. Guidebook is available in both web and app versions where attendees can find information related to an event, register, and keep a schedule of the events that they would like to attend all in one place.
How to find our Guide: Our guide is very simple to find. Simply search for “FHSU Professional Development Events” in the Guidebook “Find Guides” field, answer a short survey about yourself, and you’re all set.
Benefits for faculty and staff:
- You will no longer have to enter your demographic info every time you register for an event. You will enter this information once, and it will be attached to all your registrations.
- You will be able to receive real-time updates and cancellations of events.
- You will be able to read descriptions, filter events by topic, audience, or delivery format, register, and download a calendar reminder for your event, all in one place.
Caveats:
- You will need to download the app to your mobile device. Although Guidebook has a web platform, it does not allow for attendance taking.
How-tos:
- We’ve attached a tutorial to help you get started, register for events, and check in at events.
“Usage Sharing” Setting in Guidebook: Once you have created an account in Guidebook, it is important to leave the “share usage” button toggled on. By agreeing to “share usage,” you will help us gather the information we need for annual reporting of participation and impact. Please see the video tutorial below if you are unsure on how to toggle the “share usage” button back on.
