Fall 2023 Professional Development Day

August 15, 2023 @ 8:00 am 3:30 pm

Please join us for FHSU’s Fall Professional Development Day on August 15th. This event will feature both on-campus and Zoom sessions. You can find At-A-Glance and Detailed Schedules for all sessions attached here. Once you have reviewed the full descriptions in the attached schedules and have determined which sessions you want to attend, please register for all meals and sessions here: Fall 2023 PDD Registration

Breakfast and lunch are offered to all attendees, compliments of the University vice presidents: Dr. Jill Arensdorf, Provost; Dr. Joey Linn, VP of Student Affairs; and Mr. Wesley Wintch, VP of Administration and Finance. The buffet for both breakfast and lunch will be in the Black and Gold Ballroom, while dining will be in the Fort Hays Ballroom.

Be sure to register for meals by August 8th, so that we can provide accurate catering numbers. Registration for sessions will remain open until they are full.

Faculty Mentoring Meet and Greet: Interested in participating in the Faculty Mentoring Program this year? Grab your lunch from the buffet and then come learn what it’s all about. 
Over lunch hour: Pioneer Room

Shut Up & Write!: Back by popular demand, finish your day with dedicated time for your writing. This session is co-sponsored by FHSU Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC).

Professional Photos: University Communications has arranged for Brandon Cooley to take headshots of FHSU faculty and staff. Come update your official photo!
