Changing Accessibility Requirements

On April 20, 2026, the Department of Justice issued its final ruling enforcing Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, requiring all course content to be fully ADA compliant by April 26, 2027. The full outline of regulations follows below.

Ally for Blackboard Ultra will provide you with a complete overview for accessibility in your classes, along with providing information about how to raise your score. Learn more about what Ally is and learn how to generate a report to view what quick fixes you may need to do.
